ARGH!!! Our first "family" picture was not saved to a memory card, or so it appears. When leaving the hospital, and the first time the boys were actually able to be with their new baby brother, a lady offered to take our picture. I handed her my camera and showed her how to take the picture. She did take one but my camera must have not had the memory card in it because the card does not have the picture on it. So frustrating! That was a moment that will not be relived. I'm very sad that we don't have the picture to share (all of us bundled up for the cold and AJ in his car seat with us huddled around for the picture). I'm even more sad that the memory will probably slip away for all of us. Here a few photos taken since then...notice that moments later, at home, the memory card WAS in the camera! I don't know how else we could have lost that photo though.

Shane and Logan's gingerbread house:

My boss and friend, Susana, brought my boys to her friend's home on Saturday to make a gingerbread house. They had lots of fun and I was happy that they were able to do something special together, that was not about AJ. We've all been snacking on the delicious gingerbread and candy since!

I'm feeling so incredibly blessed!

He sure looks like Shane to me! Glad you are all home and together!
That's a mighty fine t-shirt Shane is wearing!
Yes, he does look just like Shane! That's the first thing Shaun and I both said when AJ was born. Golda- you're good! It is the shirt you gave him for this birthday and he loves it!
I was thinking of the boys and gingerbread houses recently. Don't they usually make one every year? I was glad to see that they were able to this year!
We try to do gingerbread houses but I'm sure we don't do them every year. We've done it the past couple years in Colorado. At least I think we did both years...can't remember for sure. Logan was supposed to do one at school last Friday because we signed him up to make one after school but then we'd forgotten he had an appointment in Topeka that afternoon. I was VERY happy when Susana asked if she could bring them with her on Saturday.
