When uploading pictures tonight, from Thursday evening, I found a few others I wanted to share. In February we spent a weekend in Kansas City. Shaun attended courses on insurance in preparation for his upcoming insurance test. The boys and I just had lots of fun playing. On that Saturday the boys and I hung out with my friend Trudy and her son Gage. They live in Liberty so this was a great chance to see them. We met at Hallmark's Kaleidescope, had lunch at Fritz's, and then spent the afternoon at Science City.

On a different note, we've had visitors in our yard. Unwanted visitors. Here's one of them.



One recent Sunday morning three coyotes found their way to our yard, not once, but many times. They repeatedly made their rounds in and out of our yard. They've been seen by neighbors a few times since then. So far they are staying away from people and are easily shewed away. Our dogs shouldn't be threatened because they are behind high fencing with no way under. However our neighbor's dog and their house could easily be in harm's way as they have a low chain-link fence with an easy entry point at the end of the driveway simply by jumping down into their dog's area. Like us, they have a dog door. Scary!
