Last Friday morning was so incredibly beautiful! We woke up to snow covering everything. It was gorgeous. The photographer in me said to grab my camera and go out for a drive. The tired mom in me said no way! I had a chiropracter appointment that morning so I plugged in the camera battery while I was out (because I'm a naughty photographer and had not kept it charged). Once I got home I was so tired that I didn't care anymore. Here are a few of the pictures I did shoot, from my back deck. I thought it was going to snow again a few days later so that I could take the beautiful photos I'd imagined but that snow didn't stick. Maybe next time!
Yes, they did. They've used all of the snow days already and are making up a day or so with additional time before and after school. Unless we get a bad snow storm I doubt they'll have another snow day.
Why is it that everywhere EXCEPT Michigan is getting snow this year? We haven't had more than a dusting in about 2 weeks now and its actually starting to make me a little sad.
I heard somewhere that we had 19 inches in December. Most of that was probably December 8th and 9th! There were a LOT of babies born then. Mine included. :)
My family is my number one priority. I also really enjoy what I do for my work life and I thrive on learning. I'm the mother of three wonderfully sweet sons who enjoys the time I get to spend with them. I also enjoy writing and use writing on my blog and my photography as creative outlets.

Did the boys still have school?

That's good they had school. We got a light dusting here this morning, which has since melted, and they sent the kids home early from school.
