Students Helping Students

Today in my cultural anthropology course (click on link and use your Facebook userid and password- others may work also) we talked about media and mediated culture. At the end of the class the professor showed a video which he and his students posted online yesterday. I wanted to share this because it is about K-State Proud a group of students helping students. I received a Proud Award about a year and a half ago which helped me to take an additional course in a semester that I could not have afforded to do so otherwise. It's a very worthy cause.

This website is where you can go to see the video made by the digital ethonography course. There are other videos made by members of the class there as well, some of which are about Proud Award recipients who volunteered to be spotlighted as a way to advertise the Proud campaign.
