My Son the Photographer

About an hour ago, as soon as I walked in the house after this evening's class, I was approached by my son Logan who was folding his arms and giving me a very onory look. If you know him, you can imagine it. He does it quite often, you know the look. He announced to me that he wanted to take a family picture, so we headed downstairs to the tan love seat where he'd set up an old digital camera on the tripod. He also made the area his studio using a box to be an umbrella and the flash. It was quite good! He even had a stuffed animal to play with in case we weren't happy enough.

This is the outcome (after he edited them with my help but totally his ideas for cropping and effects!):

The first picture is the actual portrait. The others where the ones we played with and he chose his favorite effects.

This was the other picture he took:

Yes, he only took two! He spent much more time "playing" with the pictures.

Oh man, that is really funny. I wish I could have been a fly on the wall to see that.

Don't worry, we'll let him do it next time he sees you! I was very surprised to hear that he's decided to become a photographer when he grows up now. He has always been very sure he wanted to be a painter like his dad.
